The Colorado health department has issued an air quality health advisory for wildfire smoke until 4 p.m. Several wildfires burning in Canada are sending smoke to multiple states, including Colorado. This is leading to unhealthy air quality in the northern Front Range, including Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and Denver, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Here we go again Colorado! Smoke, from wildfires across western Canada, will be affecting the air quality across eastern Colorado through the day on Saturday, as depicted by model data at 6 pm Friday May 19th, and 6 AM Saturday May 20th, 2023.
